My Story

I began my career in television and production after studying Broadcast Journalism and Public Relations at the University of Mississippi. That foundation led to work in film, nationally televised programming, broadcast promotion, advertising sales, and independent production.
In 2003, I founded Melinda Mercer Photography. Operating the business strengthened every part of my professional skill set: consultative sales, branding, client experience, contracts, scheduling, production, marketing, budgeting, and relationship management.
More recently, I expanded into digital entertainment marketing, artist branding, content development, release strategy, and audience engagement. Across every chapter, the common thread has remained the same: helping people and organizations communicate with clarity and authenticity.
